My intention is to shepherd into being a garden where true peace grows.

Imbued with reverence for the land, for nature, and for all Life, a conscious process of co-creation will engender the emergence of place where people can transform themselves through deepening experiential relationship with their own highest selves, with community, with the land, and with the web of life on Earth.

Devoted to the cause of compassion for all, seeds will be planted and carefully nurtured so that the land may provide meditation and spiritual retreat and peace education within a vibrant permaculturally resilient ecosystem of healthy food, compassionate living, and beloved community.

Your assistance with this meritorious work is welcome and appreciated.
Year 1
Building relationship with the land, those called will gather on the land, devoted to praying, fasting, singing, dancing.

Forging integral relationships with Indigenous Elders and Leaders, praying that they will share in the vision and will join us, along with Elders of all faiths and communities, in blessing the land, that it may bear the healing of great violence and sorrow, and offer fertile soil for growth into self-realization and tranquility.

A very simple greenhouse, and a small garden, attentive to the flow of time across the land, ever prayerful and present, kissing the Earth with every step.
Years 2 and 3
Ultra-tiny meditation cabins - just big enough to meditate and live comfortably in tranquility - and open intention to offer meditation service to anyone who seeks it.

A garden where peace grows, abundant in metta, for long-term meditators and those seeking spiritual retreat to find themselves.
Beloved community, gathering in circle every morning and evening to meditate and pray together.

Our toilets are a lesson in composting and waste. Our gray water is filtered through worms and plants and soils to support our local ecosystem. We catch and store rainwater and snow and use bicycles to power the garden. We use the sun to heat water for our showers and we purify our own drinking water. Our localized solutions provide for all of our electricity needs.
Years 4 and 5
A round building that spirals upwards.
A large indoor space that comfortably feeds 30 people with a certified kitchen. Communal areas for living and learning in fun and creativity.

A harmonious maze of common spaces that blend and weave gardens and growing things comfortably into the fabric of living and learning, with a large, partially subterranean greenhouse complex, with ponds and spaces for learning, thinking, and being human together. Learning gardens designed with permacultural attunement to generate and donate a highly diverse array of food.

Above, a sacred space, for meditation and prayer.
Weekly community potluck meals with food from our garden, shuttling in those who in need, gathering in circle to share our love and pain. Classes and seminars in peacebuilding at every level. Daily meditations, open to all.

Bees, chickens, fruits and berries.
Years 6 to 8
A land-based peace school, integrated into the gardens and community, working closely with local First Nations to eventually offer high school credit courses for a small number of at-risk youth, so that each may be known truly and loved,
This will cost
